We had a great time at the event in LA about 3 weeks ago. We met many celebs, and had the opportunity to participate in a great cause to help raise money for depression in teens. Celebrities included Isabelle Fuhrman from “The Orphan”, the little guy from “Bedtime Stories”, Boo Boo Stewart from Twilight “The Eclispse” (who looks a lot like Jacob in the movie by they way), and many others. Our cupcake jewelry was a hit, and MOSTLY eveyone was nice. All the teens were so sweet. Anyhow, a great opportunity and I look forward to many more.

Dazzle & Chunk had the opportunity to participate in the gifting suites for the Academy Awards today! Our cupcake necklaces were included in the celebrity “swag bags” from Two Parts Sugar, along with some other neat cupcake goodies from other companies. I have been searching far and wide for the perfect cupcake that I could call my own. I went through a few bad eggs (and wasted money)before I found this manufacturer that allowed me to design my own necklaces. So finally I can put them up on my website! They are simply adorable, and come in baby blue and pink. They are sprinkled with crystals, rhodium plated, and has the Dazzle & Chunk logo on them. Many cupcake charms and necklaces are hollow, but I’m pleased to say that they are great quality and solid! Is anyone going to do anything fun for halloween? I have two little ones and we’re really excited to take them trick-or-treating this year. This will be Savannah’s first time going, and I’m sure she will ahve a blast. Our neighbor rents the club house every year to make the coolest hounted house. One side is the adults haunted house, and the other side is for the little kiddos. Chloe enjoyed it last year. They provided free tiers of candy, popcorn balls, sodas and water at the bar area, and cartoon movies for the kids to sit and watch. Of course we got stuck there most of the night, as the kids played with other kids and didn’t want to leave to go trick or treating. It was so much fun, for kids and adults alike so I’m really excited to go again. I’m like a big kid! I will post pictures.
